The Happy Accident That Turned Into a Beautiful Author Community

Sometimes, life gives us the perfect push in the most unexpected way.

I’d had it on my to-do list for ages: Create a space where the authors of The Oracle Book Series could come together—not just to showcase their work, but to truly connect, collaborate, and amplify each other’s voices.

But between projects, launches, training, and the many hats I wear, it hadn’t quite made it to the top of the list.

Then this week I created a ‘private’ Facebook group—just a quiet little space where I could experiment with some ideas—and I added my assistant as an Admin.

Nothing major. No announcement. No promotion. Just a quiet click of the “create group” button.

By the next morning… 50 people had joined. 😲

That was my sign.

So I pivoted.

Fast.

I transformed the group into something even better than I'd originally imagined: A vibrant, welcoming space where the wonderful authors I work with can share chapters from The Oracle Book Series, blogs, offers and events, cross-pollinate audiences, and support one another’s visibility and success.

📚 They’ve started sharing posts, connecting with new readers, and finding creative ways to collaborate.
