Sticks and Stones – The Lie We Were Told About Words... and the Energy That Can Heal Them

You may have heard the old childhood rhyme:
“Sticks and stones may break my bones, but words will never hurt me.”
But you know, as so many of us do, that it simply isn’t true.
Words do hurt. They land in the body like tiny darts or crashing blows, especially when they come from those we love, trust, or fear. When we are shamed, silenced, dismissed, or belittled, the energy of those words doesn’t just fade - it embeds itself in our cells, our fascia, our muscles, our breath. The echoes of cruelty, judgment, or even neglect can sit there for years, decades, lifetimes - undigested, unhealed, and yet still active.
These unspoken wounds show up in surprising ways:
In a tightness in the chest when we try to speak our truth
In a clenched jaw when we want to cry but “stay strong”
In chronic fatigue, digestive issues, or mysterious pain no doctor can explain
This is trauma—especially emotional trauma—and it lives not just in the mind, but in the body’s energy field.
Energy Medicine Knows the Truth About Words
Unlike conventional medicine, which often focuses on symptoms, energy healing modalities such as Sekhem, All-Love goes to the root—the energetic imprint.
These modalities work holistically, treating the person, not just the problem.
Sekhem All-Love, is a powerful pathway to liberation. It works not only through the hands-on or channeled healing of energy but through the activation of the heart and soul’s inner resonance. It brings buried trauma to the surface gently, lovingly, and then transmutes it—so the body can finally exhale.
Sekhem isn’t just a practice. It is a living force. One that reaches into the sacred, the primal, and the divine all at once.
Four Divine Days That Changed Lives
This past four days, I had the honour and privilege of hosting a profound event, in glorious Greenwich, on behalf of Patrick Zeigler, the original channel of the Sekhem energy.
To be in sacred space with a group of souls ready to heal, was something I will never forget. The sessions were alive with release, connection, divine activation, and so much deep healing. Many who attended shared they felt seen in ways they hadn’t for decades. Tears flowed. Laughter burst forth. Old pains—both emotional and physical—were released. There were moments of pure bliss, stillness, and unity. It was everything All-Love promises, and more.
What makes this modality so potent is that it’s not “done to you.” It’s with you, through you, of you. That’s the All-Love process.
And I will be forever grateful that Patrick Zeigler, who received the original energetic transmission of Sekhem while spending a night alone in the Great Pyramid of Giza in 1983, has continued to bring this gift to the world.
That sacred night of initiation changed his life—and through him, has changed the lives of thousands.
To sit with him, to witness the field that forms around his work, and to share that with others here in the UK was an incredible blessing.
The Healing Journey: From Words to Wholeness
If you have read my blog on “sticks and stones”, you’ll know how deeply I believe in reclaiming our power—especially from the lies that we internalised as children.
Energy healing is not a bypass or a spiritual Band-Aid. When practiced with intention and integrity, it is sacred soul surgery.
It doesn’t just make you feel better for a while. It liberates.
Sekhem All-Love helps dissolve the energy of those cutting words, the manipulative control, the internalised beliefs that kept you small. It works through resonance, frequency, sacred breath, and heart activation.
It helps you remember who you are—before the world told you otherwise.
If you're ready to begin or deepen your healing journey, I invite you to explore what’s possible with Sekhem All-Love. You can read more about trauma healing through energy work here:

With gratitude for all the unseen healing we do together,
